Hello Neal families,

 

I’m Mrs. Carlisi, your Assistant Principal.  I have lived in Las Vegas since 1979, and am a proud, former student of the Clark County School District.  I am married, have two beautiful daughters, and a very rambunctious dog, Briscoe.  My hobbies are spending time with my family and watching my daughters succeed in their life and academic endeavors.

I have been an educator with CCSD for 24 years, having taught second grade, fifth grade, and also spent time as a literacy specialist.  I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Education and Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from UNLV, and my Masters in Administration from Sierra Nevada College.

As your Assistant Principal, I am grateful to be able to continue my career alongside the staff, students, and families I have known for the past 14 years.  My goal is to continue to create a safe environment for your children, helping them grow emotionally, socially, and academically.  I look forward to the challenges and rewards of working with, and for, you and your children for many years to come.  Together, our diligence will help the students at Joseph Neal STEAM Academy achieve both their academic and life goals.
